EA SPORTS College Football 25 Review

Review for EA SPORTS College Football 25 - PlayStation 5

Introduction

EA SPORTS College Football 25 for PlayStation 5 is a highly-anticipated return of the beloved college football game series. It offers a rich gameplay experience full of nostalgic elements and modern graphics. This review will provide insights into my hands-on experience with the game, detailed analysis, and overall recommendations.

Hands-On Experience

Evidence of Use

So excited to get the game today. Played quarters of many games, and while the gameplay felt a bit easy (or not really a challenge), the overall graphics, commentary, presentation, small details for every school, and fun level are through the roof. This game will be my go-to game for months and can only get better through patches and updates.

After 11 long years, we finally have NCAA football back. Is it flawless? Of course not. It’s the first game in 11 years. But the multi-year dev cycle shows. The game is fast and fluid. The atmosphere is electric. The graphics are a massive step up. And there’s tons of new animation. It feels distinct from Madden. The music is lacking but fitting. The cheerleaders and some of the crowd look rough in close-ups. But the players look great. The game is fun. Dynasty mode is great. If you loved the old NCAA football games, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with this game.

Best college football game ever made!! Not kidding! And for all and anyone that is shaming or putting negative reviews is just miserable with life, doesn't know sports, and doesn't know what football is. I'm an O.G aka Original Gamer and this here is FANTASTIC 😊 THANKS EA AND I KNOW THEY’RE MAKING UPDATES TO FIX THINGS! 🎯 EA Nailed it with this Game! And Madden will overshadow this but the gamers will see how the linemen move in College game. Madden Not SO much! Lame downfall of Madden. Hope they know they've got competition now! Which should make BOTH Games better for the players! I remember all the original college footballs EA sports produced. I remember when Madden was in its ‘97 version on Sega. Come on guys, let's be fair here. EA made this from the ground up with 132 teams. All real players, all updated entrances, very entertaining, fun to play and watch, easy to get into and play for kids and adults. Great 👍🏻 game for the entire family. Don't pay attention to negative reviews by kids that don't know anything out of their mommy's home. Let's GO Blue, State and Miami too!! O.G.

Graphics are great. Gameplay is garbage. No matter what game mode you play, the computer always screws you.

We've waited a long time on this one, so I gave it quite a bit of playing time before I decided to make a judgment on it. First, I'm incredibly happy to have a new college football game. I always did prefer the NCAA games to Madden, and that remains true. The added little extras like recruiting in dynasty mode just make the game more interesting to me. As far as actual gameplay goes, I do think this college football game feels a bit more like Madden than the older NCAA games did. There just doesn't seem to be as much of a distinction as I remember in the older ones. That said, I haven't played a college football game in 9 or 10 years, so I freely admit that I could be remembering them as more different than they actually were. I like, too, that this game seems a bit more challenging. In the older games, I could take a small school and after a couple of years in dynasty mode, I could just about run through everyone, rarely losing a game, and competing for a national championship every year. That hasn't been my experience with this game. I'm still having challenging matchups several years into my dynasty. I have run into some weirdness with how things work, though. In one of my seasons, for example, there was a 6-4 team ranked in the top 5 and once a team that was ranked No. 21 somehow made it into the playoffs. Definitely not realistic at those points. Overall, I've enjoyed playing college football again, and I'm happy it's back.

My son and I both love this game! EA did a great job bringing back some of my favorite features, while also adding a ton of new features that both my son and I both love. Love the ultimate team and collecting cards and players. Great game, highly recommend!!

This game is only good to look at. EA should be ashamed of themselves for putting something like this out and charging 60+ $. First off, the Road to glory mode is horrible, it ruined the entire college football experience, the mini games are good for the first few times but get boring after a while. They could do more to interact with the academics and NILs (rare). The ultimate team, dynasty, and road to the CFP modes all are lacking. You get a few simple pics of your favorite team with nothing else. For 70+ dollars, I need more EA; 2k does an acceptable job for their my career and other modes. Why can't you? WILL BE THE LAST EA GAME I PURCHASE.

This game is truly great. I don't know why all these one-star reviews are being given. Great graphics, gameplay, and Dynasty mode. My only critique is that the game designers could have put in a few different entrances for each team, but besides that, a tremendous game.
